A little about me
I have developed software for more than 40 years using many languages and operating systems, and most of my development would be considered “back end” these days. For about 20 of those years I was also responsible for administering networks of mainly Unix-ish systems.
I started programming on an Olivetti Programma 101, and then moved on to Commodore Basic and 6502 assembly language, and then C and x86 assembly language. These days I prefer to use Ruby, Elixir, and Perl, and I am happy to use other languages.
While I find technology interesting, the thing I enjoy most in technology-related work is getting to know people and then helping them do something meaningful.
There is more about me on my web site.
